LAURIE SHERTZ
Laurie Shertz has been practicing law since 1995, first
in the Seattle area, and in Portland since 1996. During that time,
she has dedicated her practice to providing high quality, creative, professional,
and ethical legal representation to people charged with crimes.
Ms. Shertz achieved her undergraduate degree in three years from the University
of Washington, while working full-time in customer service positions.
After college, she attended Seattle University School of Law and worked
for two different prosecuting agencies during school; first in the victim
assistance unit of the King County Prosecutor's Office, and later as a
prosecutor for the City of Bremerton. Ms. Shertz filed nearly
two dozen appeals on behalf of clients while working for Nielsen & Acosta before relocating to Oregon.
