I handle exclusively the defense of criminal cases, both before charges are filed, during the investigation phase, as well as afterwards as your case proceeds through the criminal justice system. My goal is to determine how you want to handle your case, to minimize the damage a criminal charge can have on your life, to provide you the information you need to make informed decisions, and then do everything I can to help you achieve those goals.

I limit the number of clients I represent at any one time so you have my full attention in fighting the charges against you. The legal system can be overwhelming and intimidating. You can count on me to explain the process to you and work closely with you to present the best possible defense to criminal charges.

Before entering private practice, I spent nearly five years at the public defender's office, most of which was on the major felony team. I previously worked as an appellate attorney and honed my ability to protect your trial record. During law school, I gained invaluable insight into prosecutor's office by working both in the victim's assistance unit and later as a trial prosecutor.
